Nqobile tells a story of a woman who suffered domestic abuse but experienced a turn in her life. She boldly stands up to her spouse.

Nqobile, played by Nunu Khumalo, is the ill-treated bride of the Nkosi family.

After series of abuse from her husband, the makoti manages to outsmart him and takes over his empire.

After which she changes it into a woman-led e-hailing service and with newfound grit. She then makes a move by declaring war against her husband.

She enters into an industry dominated by the male gender and attaining a position of power. The television drama follows all she has to do to negotiate her freedom, continue to gain respect, and succeed.
