Summary
The Estate is a new series on SABC3 that tells a story on several social issues in society. It tackles issues on land and identity, corruption, patronage, money, power struggles, class, and equality.
Its main focus is on people who live in the beautiful homes of Echelon Estate. The beautiful surroundings are all encompassed by a high brick wall and tight security.
The struggle to keep up appearances becomes a secret struggle for the super-elite in the estate.
The middle class is left to with the struggle to keep up with the neighbors. The working class plays a huge role in serving the champagne.
