Reyka is a new M-Net series with many popular actors as cast. Many celebrated television and movie figures including Thando Thabethe and Leeanda Reddy appear on the show. Playing the starring roles are Kim Engelbrecht and Iain Glen.
Plot
The show follows Reyka Gama, portrayed by Kim Engelbrecht, a flawed but brilliant criminal profiler.
Though her past catches up with her present thereby haunting her. She is an investigator trying to connect the brutal murders to the serial killer in the sugar cane fields of KwaZulu-Natal.Â
As a child, she was a victim of abduction by Speelman, played by Iain Glen, a farmer.
The experience left her traumatized but assists her in being a step ahead of Africa’s most notorious criminals and turn them inside out.

Kim Engelbrecht as Reyka
Kim Engelbrecht (41) is a South African actress best known for playing the role of Lolly de Klerk in the soap opera Isidingo.
She is also known for appearing on The CW series The Flash as Marlize DeVoe.
Thando Thabethe as Nandi Cele
Thando Thabethe (31) is a popular South African actress, Radio Disk Jockey, and television personality. She was the presenter for the TV show on channel TLC – Thando Bares All.
Leeanda Reddy as Alia Sewsunker
South African actress Leeanda is best known for playing the role of Kumari Nayar in Cape Town and Vanashree Devan in Scandal! She is a graduate of Speech and Drama and is married to her longtime partner Clive Chetty.
Hamilton Dhlamini as Hector Zwane

Gabrielle De Gama is an actress, model, and dancer. The 14-year-old also shared that she had suffered bully and wants to tell her story through song. The song track shines the spotlight on issues around bullying – particularly cyberbullying.
