Matome Chiloane is a South African politician. He is a Gauteng Education MEC and was the Chairperson of the education portfolio committee before the appointment.
Chiloane is a member of the Gauteng Provincial Legislature, representing the African National Congress since 2018. He was the Chairperson of the education committee in the legislature.
In 2019, he became the Chairperson of the education portfolio in the Gauteng Legislature.
Chiloane is well known as an activist in Cosas Tembisa in Ekurhuleni. He actively participated in the progressive structure in Tembisa. He became the Chairperson of the ANC Youth League in Gauteng in August 2014.

Matome Chiloane was born in Gauteng, South Africa. He is of South African nationality.
Career
In 2014, he emerged winner of the election to become the Chairperson of the Gauteng African National Congress Youth League.
On March 20, 2018, Chiloane became a sworn member of the Gauteng Provincial Legislature. He serves as the Chairperson of the education committee in the legislature.
On February 28, 2022, he joined the Standing Committee of Chairpersons in the legislature. He became joined the Standing Committee on Accounts-gau on February 18, 2022.
Chiloane became a member of the Petitions Committee-Gau in the legislature on June 13, 2019. He belongs to the African National Congress (ANC).
The politician was the 7th Candidate on the NC Provincial Gauteng Election List 2019. He was a member of the Roads and Transport Committee in the legislature until May 2019.
Matome served as an alternate member of the Social Development Portfolio Committee. After May 7, 2019, the renowned politician left office as a member of the Petitions Committee-Gau in the legislature.
