Benetti works at the Burton Blatt Institute at Syracuse University, where he oversees the CHAT (“Communication Hope through Assistive Technology”) Camp.

He was an adjunct professor of sports broadcasting at Syracuse’s Newhouse School. He participates in the “Just Say Hi” campaign run by the Cerebral Palsy Foundation.
