MEGAN THEE STALLION RELEASES NEW DISS TRACK
In her diss track, Hiss, which was released on Friday, 26 January, Megan Thee Stallion rapped; “These h**s don’t be mad at Megan, These h**s mad at Megan’s Law, I don’t really know what the problem is, But I guarantee y’all don’t want me to start”.
Megan references her beef with Nicki, who has previously noted her dislike for Megan Thee Stallion. Megan also references Megan’s Law, which is the name of a federal law in the United States that requires law enforcement to make information about registered sex offenders available to the public.
The federal law was created in response to the death of a 7-year-old girl, Megan Kanka, who was raped and murdered in 1994 by her neighbour Jesse Timmendequas who was previously been convicted of child molestation.
Megan was lured by Jesse into his house.

NICKI MINAJ FIGHTS BACK
You’re probably wondering how this lyric is directed at Nicki Minaj’s husband. Well, the superstar rapper’s husband Kennerth Petty became a registered sex offender in April 1995. This was after he was convicted of attempted rape in the first degree for assaulting a then-16-year-old girl named Jennifer Hough.
In September 2021, Kenneth failed to register as a sex offender after relocating to the state of California. As a result, he pleaded guilty to failing to register as a sex offender.
In retaliation to Megan Thee Stallion, Nicki Minaj went on Instagram Live to preview an unreleased song, which “disses” Megan’s foot injuries she sustained after being shot by Tory Lanez in July 2020.
“Bad bitch, she like 6 foot, I call her Bigfoot, the b***h fell off, I said get up on your good foot,” the Gag City rapper shared in the song.
Tory Lanez was found guilty in December 2022, on all charges for shooting Megan. He was sentenced to 10 years in prison the following August 2023.
