Julian Paul Hawkins is an Australian editor, publisher, and activist. He was born on July 3, 1971, in Townsville, Queensland, Australia. Hawkins was raised by his parents, Christine Ann Hawkins, a visual artist, and John Shipton, an anti-war activist and builder.

Following the hearing, Assange flew to Australia and arrived on June 26. Assange has won multiple awards for his publishing and journalism work. His book “When Google Met WikiLeaks” was published in 2014 and recounted a meeting between Assange and Google executives.
